Who We Are

As followers of Christ, we believe that "all Scripture is inspired by God" (2 Tim. 3:16-17), and that makes the Bible unlike any other book on Earth. It was revealed to mankind to govern every aspect of life, because a "man’s way is not in himself, nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps" (Jer. 10:23). We believe every word of it is true, and that the New Testament is the complete and final revelation of God as given through His Son and chosen apostles (Heb. 1:1-2; Jude 3). Our goal is to be simply Christians. When Christ established His church in the first century it was not divided into different denominations, but was "one body" that practiced "one faith" (Eph. 4:4-6).

Sadly, in our time much of what is called "Christianity" has nothing to do with Christ or His mission. Many churches have become community social clubs primarily interested in political or social activism. However, this is not the pattern found in the New Testament. As God’s people, we are "the pillar and support of the Truth" and strive to walk "according to the pattern" given to us by Christ and His chosen apostles (1 Tim. 3:15; Phil. 3:17). We do not have an agenda to draw big crowds or appeal to special interests. As the church which Christ has "purchased with His own blood" our mission is to teach others to observe all Christ has commanded with boldness and humility (Acts 20:28; Matt. 28:19-20). In an effort to spread God’s Message, we post articles and sermons on this site. We pray that you will find good use of the resources here. We welcome any questions you may have concerning God’s Word or His people, and we will do our best to answer them according to His Truth (1 Pet. 4:11).
